Discover a hidden gem in Lalitpur, where the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee mingles with the heartwarming atmosphere of a family-run cafe. Yaksha Coffee offers more than just exceptional beverages; it invites you into a space filled with warmth, character, and personal touches that make it a standout destination for coffee lovers and casual visitors alike.

Located just a short stroll from the historic Patan Durbar Square, the cafe boasts a charming ambiance that perfectly balances intimacy and comfort. The cozy ground floor is dedicated to crafting divine coffee specialties, while the first floor and inviting rooftop terrace offer private nooks ideal for couples or small gatherings with friends. The reviews tell a story of welcoming service and delightful experiences; one customer, Gwenn Wlr, raves about the attentive staff who are willing to adjust spice levels in their dishes, ensuring everyone can enjoy the flavors that resonate with their palate.

The menu at Yaksha Coffee features a selection of tantalizing items that blend local flavors with global favorites. Patrons are particularly enthusiastic about the cafe's expertly crafted sandwiches, with one eager visitor describing it as "one of the best" they've ever tasted. The café's coffee is not to be overlooked either—an excellent double shot latte is among the highlights, drawing in coffee aficionados eager for that perfect shot. However, while most menu items shine, some reviews hint at a delightful inconsistency in food quality, suggesting that each visit may bring pleasant surprises.

Beyond the delectable offerings, Yaksha Coffee thrives on its inviting community vibe. Customers have expressed joy in the vibrant yet peaceful atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for a romantic date or a leisurely afternoon with friends. The terrace is particularly cherished for its ambiance—an ideal backdrop for relaxation as you savor your coffee and soak in the local scenery.

However, it’s important to note that, like any family-run establishment, challenges arise. A few patrons have pointed out concerns with hygiene, highlighting the importance of keeping the space pristine. Yet, these occasional drawbacks don’t overshadow the overall appeal that this delightful cafe has built over time.

In essence, Yaksha Coffee is not just a cafe; it's a heartfelt experience where coffee lovers can indulge in delightful tastes, couples can create memories, and friends can reconnect—all in a space that feels like a home away from home. Be sure to stop by to enjoy a cup of their excellent espresso and perhaps share a sandwich on the charming terrace!

This place is located in short walk from Patan Durbar Square. The atmosphere is good and has private spaces. This restaurant is run by a family. The ground floor is space for coffee, there 1st floor and roof top with private private space suitable for couples and a small group of friends. The food here is okey but lacks consistency. One day the food might be great but next time you go, the food serving size might be more or less; the food taste isn't consistent either. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. Some food in the menu seems like dissapointment and other are worth it. I suggest you to avoid Korean ramen but other menus are okay. Momos, Keema noodles, soup, coffee drinks and fruit juice are better than other restaurant near by here if you go during a "good" day

A beautiful coffee shop in Patan. Slight off location, but that makes it even better. Though small, this cafe has its following. The sandwich we had here is one of the best I've ever had. The ambience is homely, terrace is even better to spend time. Love it!

Excellent double shot latte, but unsure about the hygiene after seeing a rat scouring the wall on the rooftop
